How do I earn BoyneRewards points?
After registering for your membership, a membership card will arrive in the mail in a few weeks. Present your card when paying for qualifying purchases at participating BOYNE properties, and you will earn 1 point for every dollar you spend. For a list of qualifying purchases and participating locations, see the "Earn Points" section of this website.
Is my BoyneRewards card valid from year to year?
Yes, the card is valid from year to year.
I made a purchase, why isn't it showing up in my account?
Your purchase/points need to be in your account for 14 days before you will be able to see or use the points. However, the transaction should be posted to your account the day after you used your card or number when you made the purchase. We suggest you check your transaction history during that two-week period to make sure that the transaction went through.
Should each family member enroll in the BoyneRewards program?
No, we recommend each family use just one BoyneRewards account number, since you cannot combine points from two different accounts to redeem rewards. Also, it is easier to accumulate more points if they are all kept in one account.
Can I request a "duplicate" BoyneRewards card for family members?
Unfortunately, our software does not allow us to make duplicate cards (more than one card displaying the same account number). Many families just make photocopies of the original card, laminate them, and let immediate family members carry them. Although the photocopied card cannot be swiped at the register, the BoyneRewards number can be manually entered at the beginning of the transaction.
How do I redeem my BoyneRewards points for an award?
Log in on BoyneRewards.com by entering your user name and password in the blue account area at the upper left. Your point total will appear beneath your name once you are logged in. Click on the "redeem points" link below your point total, or select "Awards Catalog" from the orange bar at the top of the page, to see a list of available rewards. Click on "Redeem" button next to the reward you are interested in, and follow the instructions to print a reward voucher. You can redeem the voucher at the applicable location.
How can I look up my itemized transaction history online?
Log in on BoyneRewards.com by entering your user name and password in the blue account area at the upper left. Your point total will appear beneath your name once you are logged in.
Your point total will appear beneath your name once you are logged in. Click on the "Transaction History" link below your point total. You will see an itemized listing of every thing that has been posted to your account.
Remember, if it has been less than two weeks since you made a transaction, the transaction will show up, but the points will not be "available" to you until 14 days after the date of the transaction.
I can't remember my password, can you tell me what it is?
When you log on with your user name but enter the wrong password, your password hint will appear. We cannot see your password. If this does not help you remember your password, you can click on "I forgot my password" in the login area. You will then need to enter your BoyneRewards number to have your password emailed to the address you have registered.
We cannot see your password, so it is very important to enter a hint when setting up your account. Please write your user name and password down in a safe place, so you will have it when you need to access your account.
I forgot to have my BoyneRewards card swiped. How do I get credit for my points?
The only way to guarantee that you receive the correct points for your purchase is to have your card swiped at the time of the transaction. Should that not happen, you can submit a receipt online by entering the TRX id number that appears on the receipt. Please only enter a receipt once. You will need your account number, user name and password to do this.
In the cases of hotel charges, you will need to fax your folio (remember to include your name and BoyneRewards account number on all correspondence) to 248-338-3183. Allow one week for points to appear.
I charged everything to my room at the resort. Now I've learned that the only the lodging points were posted from the front desk. Why didn't the entire amount I paid get posted to my account? How can I get credit for the rest of the transactions that were charged to the room?
Remember that BoyneRewards is a point-of-sale program. You should use your BoyneRewards card or number every time you make a transaction during your stay, even if you charge it to your room. The front desk has no way of adding the points you charged to your room.
However, you can still get credit for the things you charged to your room!
Please fax, email, or mail the entire lodging folio to us. Be sure to write your account name and BoyneRewards number on all correspondence. You can print a cover page to attach to your folio from the Submit Receipt page (click on the "No" button for no TRX number and follow the instructions).
Then you can scan the entire lodging folio and email it as an attachment to receipts@boynerewards.com. You can also fax it to us at 248-338-3183. Or, you can mail a clear copy to BoyneRewards, 42881 Woodward Ave., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304.
Be sure to write your account name and BoyneRewards number on all correspondence. We will review the transactions line by line and post the eligible points to your account.
Can I receive lodging points when I book my stay through a travel agency or discount travel website or if I stay at Blue Green/Mountain Run condos?
No, the BoyneRewards program gives you credit for transactions paid to BOYNE. If you book through the BOYNE.com website or 248.322.2400, you are paying BOYNE directly for lodging, so the eligible points will be posted to your account. Please show your card at the front desk when you check in, and keep a copy of your lodging folio so you can check your transaction history online a few weeks after your stay.
Eligible purchases, activities, and meals during your stay that are paid to the resort are eligible for BoyneRewards points.
I have an account with BOYNE and charge transactions. Can I just send in my statement each month?
No, please don't submit the charge statements because they do not include the TRX ID numbers that are used for verifying the receipts. We suggest you always ask for and keep all receipts for your transactions until you check your transaction history two weeks later to see that they have been posted.
Since we do not accept submitted monthly statements, it will only take a longer time for your points to post as you will have to contact bookkeeping to retrieve the individual receipts for each transaction that was processed without your BoyneRewards card number.
How do I contact you to change my email address or other information?
You can send the information by email to change@boynerewards.com.
The receipt doesn't have a TRX ID number. What should I do?
Lodging folios and meal receipts do not have TRX ID number's. You need to email, fax, or mail those receipts to us. Be sure to write your account name and BoyneRewards number on all correspondence. You can print a cover page to attach to your folio from the Submit Receipt page (click on the "No" button for no TRX number and follow the instructions).
Then you can scan the receipts and email them as attachments to receipts@boynerewards.com. You can also fax them to us at 248-338-3183. Or, you can mail a clear copy to BoyneRewards, 42881 Woodward Ave., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304.
Be sure to write your account name and BoyneRewards number on all correspondence.
I just enrolled. They told me I could submit my receipt when I got home. Why can't I do that?
You have to wait until your BoyneRewards card arrives in the mail (about 2 weeks). The website will not recognize you because you do not have an account number yet. You will be able to create a user name and password and submit receipts when you receive your card.
I just received my BoyneRewards card and I can't remember my password?
If you just received your card, you haven't yet created a user name or password, because you didn't have an account number. You cannot access your account online until you follow the instructions in your welcome packet.
I don't have a fax machine. Can I mail you a copy of my lodging folio or meal receipt?
Yes, please send a clear copy to BoyneRewards, 42881 Woodward Ave., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304. Be sure to write your account name and BoyneRewards number on all correspondence. You can also scan the receipt and email it as an attachment to receipts@boynerewards.com. You can print a cover page to attach to your receipt from the Submit Receipt page (click on the "No" button for no TRX number and follow the instructions).
I'm a BOYNE employee. How do I look up a customer's BoyneRewards number?
If your computer has one, click on the "lightning bolt" icon on your screen and enter the customer's name (also check address). The BoyneRewards number will appear, and can then be entered into the transaction.
I don't have my lift ticket receipt, but I still have my lift ticket. Can I find the TRX information on my lift ticket?
Yes, the TRX ID number and date are located on the front of the ticket. You can submit them online just like a receipt.
Can I get points for the purchase I made or the resort stay I had before I enrolled in BoyneRewards?
Many customers learn of the BoyneRewards program for the first time when they are a guest at a resort or make a purchase in one of our stores. Enroll in the program online right away, and wait for your BoyneRewards card to arrive. We will accept receipts from transactions made in the six-month period before you enrolled.
Do my BoyneRewards points expire?
BoyneRewards points do not have an expiration date, as long as your BoyneRewards account remains active. The program has grown so much since its beginning, and now there are many "high point value" items that can be earned. Members are now encouraged to save up the points for a particular item without worrying about the points being lost due to an expiration date.
I lost my BoyneRewards card, how can I get a replacement?
You can contact help@boynerewards.com and ask for a replacement card to be made and mailed to you for a cost of 25 BoyneRewards points.
Although the replacement card will be for the same account, it will have a different BoyneRewards account number, because the card printer system we use does not repeat card numbers. The information, user name, password, and points will remain the same.
